Epic Jam O Ramas

This weekend I participated in an epic Jam O Rama. My friend Jon had a bunch of people with (very) different backgrounds by a recording studio in Warren to play a bunch of tunes. I came with my trusty Telecaster and amp, very nervous because it's not often I play with "good" players. And these guys ran the gammot. It was pretty much a free-for-all as far as different players, from nerdy mid 40's Steely Dan types to a 15 year old punk kid. Here's what I can remember playing on...

Brown Sugar (rhythm guitar) (Rolling Stones)
Happy (rhythm guitar and vocals) (Rolling Stones)
Blues in G (slide guitar) (original jam)

Heartbreaker (drums) (Led Zeppelin)
Live With Me (drums) (Rolling Stones)
Ace of Spades (drums) (Motorhead)
Fuck Christmas (drums) (Fear)
I Wanna Be Sedated (drums) (The Ramones)

Rain (rhythm guitar) (The Beatles)
Sympathy For The Devil (rhythm guitar) (The Rolling Stones)
Ricky Don't Lose that Number (percussion) (Steely Dan)
My Old School (rhythm guitar) (Steely Dan)

Whole Lotta Love (guitar) (Led Zeppelin)

Keep Your Hands To Yourself (guitar) (Georgia Sattelites)
Little Queenie (guitar) (Chuck Berry)

Blue Christmas (lead vocals) (Elvis)
(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear (lead vocals) (Elvis)
Burning Love (lead Vocals) (Elvis)
Jailhouse Rock (lead vocals) (Elvis)

The highlights of the evening were a truly satanic "Sympathy For the Devil", a spot on "My Old School", which Jon nailed the guitar parts to like a man posessed, and of course the Elvis tunes at the end. I'll try to upload video when I get a chance.
